As you enter Surf 6, you will notice immediately the grand oceanfront view
and the casual, relaxed atmosphere and nautical theme. The
large number of nautical curios are fun and interesting to see
and in many cases rare items collected over a period of many
years. The very unusual bar is in fact the bow end of a once
real working lobster boat! Try fitting that through your front
door! You will have a large choice of seating indoors or out
on the sunny beachfront patio deck, and all with an
unparalleled view of the beach, pier and beautiful ocean
beyond.
The outside deck is a perfect way to spend a warm, sunny
afternoon at the beach. See the sunbathers and the colorful display of beach umbrellas. Watch as a bucket of sand
turns into a sandcastle. See the pleasure boats, water
sports and the lobster boats working their traps near the
islands.
While sipping one of our taste-tempting beverages, scan the
menu and note our wide variety of delicious appetizers, salads
and full, hearty meals. Enjoy an ice-cold beer with
a bucket of fresh, hot steamers, a real local treasure dug up
daily, served with hot broth and drawn butter. Try a bowl of
our thick, rich authentic New England clam chowder.
Choose
from our wide selection of entrée salads including Grilled
Chicken Caesar, Greek and Grilled Oriental Chicken Salad with
honey-ginger dressing. Have one of our thick juicy,
jumbo-sized char-grilled hamburgers on a toasted Kaiser roll
with all the fixin’s -- or have a char-grilled, thick and
juicy, New York steak. We serve fresh, local seafood dishes
such as fresh, sweet and petite, Maine shrimp platters and
fresh local clams, scallops, haddock, swordfish, and of course
the jewel in the crown of Maine’s seafood - fresh steamed
lobsters!
Our menu has something special for every taste and appetite.
We also offer a “Lil’ Mates” menu for families with young
children. Meals are served daily in season from 11:00 a.m
until late evening.
